Basic Beliefs of ISLAM The reason for Islamic precept is found in the Qur'an (Koran). Muslims accept the Qur'an is the expression of God, spoken by the holy messenger Gabriel to Muhammad. The Qur'an was uniquely in oral structure while Muhammad was living, which implies it was continually deciphered by Muhammad (SAW) and his pupils. It was recorded in the caliphate of Abu Bakr (R.A). Only it is trustworthy and without mistake. There are five pillars of Islam i.e namaz, roza, zakat, hajj. But also Quran teach us to give sadaqat to poor. The Qur'an is included 114 surahs, or sections, organized from longest to briefest. For Muslims Muhammad was the remainder of God's seven prophets or couriers to humanity.
